At the prestigious IFSEC Awards 2012 event the category of Access Control Product of the Year (including biometrics) was awarded to Codegate for its ePOD unmanned store product developed in partnership with Speedy Services.
Produced in association with the British Security Industry Association and headline sponsored by Norbain Group, the awards were presented by sports pundits Mark Lawrenson and Dan Walker following a black tie dinner. Acknowledging the people, products and technological advancements that have played a major role in enhancing the security sector throughout the past year, Charlie Cracknell – event director for IFSEC International – said:
“I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to all of the winners and reiterate that the calibre of entries this year has been outstanding. The evolution of new security threats has meant that there is a continuous need for innovation across the industry, as demonstrated in each of the award categories, to drive the security sector forward.”
Cracknell added: “I would also like to thank our panel of judges, whom I know had an extremely hard task to fulfil when it came to selecting their winners from such a praiseworthy pool of finalists.”
